Quizzes, rubrics and the grading workflow
Assess learners with quizzes built from question banks, assignments graded against rubrics, and surveys for feedback — with a grading workflow that keeps human judgement where it belongs.
What's included
- Question banks — build, tag and reuse questions; randomise and draw from banks per quiz. QTI exchange (Pro and above) imports and exports banks between systems.
- Automated grading — objective quizzes mark themselves; results feed analytics immediately.
- Manual grading workflow — assignments, rubric-based marking and a gradebook, with corrections tracked by history.
- Blind marking — mark anonymously; identities are revealed only when you choose.
- Accommodations — extra time and other adjustments recorded per learner with a justification.
- Secure exams — locked-down exam launch, and proctoring incidents queued for human review.
- Similarity review Beta — submissions go through a similarity review workflow; today the provider adapter is simulated and results are ingested by staff, so it makes no compliance claims.
- Peer and group assessments — learners review each other against configured criteria.
How grading works
- Learner submits a quiz or assignment.
- Objective questions grade automatically; assignments queue for an assessor.
- The assessor marks against the rubric — blind if configured — and the grade flows to the gradebook, analytics and the learner.
- Final grades for consequential decisions are recorded by people: AI evaluation of submissions Beta is advisory only — staff-only actions produce final grades.
Plan availability
- Quizzes & question banks, rubric assignments, automated + manual grading, surveys, peer & group assessments — every plan, including Free (question banks: 50 questions Free, 5,000 Pro, unlimited Max)
- Blind marking, accommodations, secure exam launch & proctoring incident review, similarity review workflow, assessment analytics, QTI exchange — Pro plans and above
Honest limits
Similarity review runs on a simulated provider adapter today and makes no compliance claims. AI-assisted evaluation of submissions is advisory only — final grades are always recorded by staff.
Questions people ask
Can we randomise questions so two learners don't see the same quiz?
Yes — draw randomly from tagged question banks to build different quizzes per learner.
Can assessors mark without seeing who submitted?
Yes — blind marking hides identities until you reveal them.
How do you handle learners who need extra time?
Assessment accommodations record adjustments like extra time per learner, with a justification on file.
Does AI grade the work?
No. AI evaluation is advisory and clearly labelled; final grades are always recorded by a person.

Quizzes & question banks
What it means: Build quizzes from reusable question banks with automatic marking.
Why it matters: For administrators, this helps see whether training produced credible outcomes. Instructors can give fair, actionable feedback. Learners can understand progress and demonstrate achievement. Partner organisations can recognise outcomes with appropriate evidence.
Current status: Available — Available in the app; confirm fit and readiness for your organisation before purchase.
Question bank size
What it means: The maximum number of questions you can store across your question banks.
Assignments with rubric grading
What it means: Learners submit written or uploaded work; graders mark it against a rubric.
Why it matters: For administrators, this helps see whether training produced credible outcomes. Instructors can give fair, actionable feedback. Learners can understand progress and demonstrate achievement. Partner organisations can recognise outcomes with appropriate evidence.

Surveys & feedback collection
What it means: Collect survey responses from learners or staff, with built-in results reporting.
Automated quiz grading
What it means: Multiple-choice and similar question types are marked instantly on submission.
Why it matters: For administrators, this helps see whether training produced credible outcomes. Instructors can give fair, actionable feedback. Learners can understand progress and demonstrate achievement. Partner organisations can recognise outcomes with appropriate evidence.

Manual grading workflow
What it means: Grading queues, moderation and feedback tools for human-marked work.
Peer & group assessments
What it means: Learners review each other's work, or submit together as a group project.
Why it matters: For administrators, this helps see whether training produced credible outcomes. Instructors can give fair, actionable feedback. Learners can understand progress and demonstrate achievement. Partner organisations can recognise outcomes with appropriate evidence.
Current status: Beta — Functional but actively evolving. May have limitations.
Anonymous / blind marking
What it means: Learner names are hidden during marking to remove bias.
Similarity review workflow
What it means: Compare submissions for text similarity and route suspicious cases to a reviewer.
Workflow is live; similarity results are ingested by staff — provider adapter is simulated, no compliance claims.
Assessment accommodations
What it means: Extra time, alternate formats or other adjustments per learner, with recorded justification.
